This study examines the unique challenges and transformations in higher education instruction during COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on a strategic response from one chemistry department. The pandemic created many obstacles to providing quality instruction. To support instructors challenging transition remote teaching, leadership within department an initiative ease feelings of isolation undergraduate teaching. Within this manuscript, we triangulate recordings instructors’ discussions about course syllabi, open-ended surveys understand teaching experiences pandemic. Our findings expose various points tension faced demonstrate how departmental changed values. Online education has become increasingly popular over the past few years, especially with global pandemic forcing students to learn remotely. Although online offers various benefits, including flexibility, accessibility, and convenience, it presents unique challenges, use of Lockdown Browser for sequential exams that can increase students’ anxiety levels decrease their performance. In this paper, an empirical study was undertaken examine preferences how protracting impacting on performance taking into consideration factors such as gender, class standing, availability a personal space. The finding reveals exams, errors in questions, lockdown browser, writing different time zone, one question per page stress anxiety. results also suggest there significant difference between who received letter grades, specifically, lower grades reported higher However, gender delivery course did not appear have impact levels.
