This
study
examines
the
unique
challenges
and
transformations
in
higher
education
instruction
during
COVID-19
pandemic,
focusing
on
a
strategic
response
from
one
chemistry
department.
The
pandemic
created
many
obstacles
to
providing
quality
instruction.
To
support
instructors
challenging
transition
remote
teaching,
leadership
within
department

isolation
undergraduate
teaching.

we
triangulate
recordings

discussions
about
course
syllabi,
open-ended
surveys

teaching
experiences

Our
findings
expose
various

Online
education
has
become
increasingly
popular
over
the
