The eye is one of the most important organs human body. Eye diseases are closely related to other systemic diseases, both which influence each other. Numerous lead special clinical manifestations and complications in eyes. Typical include diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive thyroid associated ophthalmopathy, optic neuromyelitis, Behcet’s disease. Systemic disease-related ophthalmopathy usually a chronic disease, analysis imaging markers helpful for comprehensive diagnosis these diseases. Recently, artificial intelligence (AI) technology based on deep learning has rapidly developed, leading numerous achievements arousing widespread concern. Presently, AI made significant progress research ophthalmopathy; however, there also many limitations challenges. This article reviews achievements, limitations, future prospects image ophthalmopathy.

Background Zhilong Huoxue Tongyu Capsule (ZLHXTY) has been used in clinical treatment of vascular diseases caused by hypertension over 20 years. However, the specific mechanisms ZLHXTY alleviate hypertensive retinopathy (HR) needs to be further explored. Materials and methods HR mouse model was established infusing Ang II via subcutaneously implanted osmotic mini-pumps, followed oral administration (0.35, 0.7, 1.4 g/kg/day) 28 days for treatment. To assess impacts on retinal neurodegeneration injury, multiple experiments such as OCTA, ERG HE staining were performed. Subsequently, network pharmacological 4D-label-free proteomics clarify potential targets alleviated HR. Finally, Western blot, ELISA, IF, other techniques utilized detect expression proteins related inflammation, oxidative stress, NLRP3 inflammasome activation. Results significantly dysfunction, increased blood flow, mitigated pathological changes tissues edema mice. Network pharmacology indicated that might exert anti-inflammatory anti-oxidative stress effects through TNF NF-κB. Proteomic analysis showed differential between ZL group mainly enriched immune-inflammatory response, main mechanism which assembly inflammasome. Subsequent vivo corroborated remarkably attenuated inflammation damage tissues. Further demonstrated inhibited NLRP3/Caspase-1/GSDMD signaling pathway protein expression. TEM results also verified pyroptosis cells. Conclusion Our suggest regulating axis, inhibiting pyroptosis, thereby relieving dysfunction injury
