Introduction: Pregnant women’s experiences and concerns regarding childbirth are complex, necessitating a multidimensional personalized approach in maternal care. This study explores the psychological emotional factors influencing pregnant decisions their mode of delivery. The results will provide valuable insights for development educational counseling strategies designed to support women making informed conscious about childbirth. Material method: cross-sectional aimed develop validate questionnaire exploring dimensions Factor analysis was employed assess perceptions, perceived medical risks, impact cesarean section on women. distributed online via Google Forms, using social networks like Facebook Instagram ensure rapid broad accessibility. available seven months, from January July 2023. Results: McDonald’s ω, Cronbach’s α, average inter-item correlation, total item correlations were calculated consistency items measuring same construct. three-factor model emerged as primary structure based exploratory confirmatory factor analyses (EFA CFA). first profile, centered benefits vaginal birth, highlights importance natural birth experience mother’s well-being. second profile addresses risks need interventions. third focuses perceptions related intelligence adaptability children born by effects anesthesia. Conclusions: Each reflects different seeking control security amid uncertainties. These include emphasizing addressing focusing interventions child development. Understanding these variables is essential providing appropriate psychosocial support, thereby optimizing promoting health both mother child. integration multi-factor single-factor models serves complementary purposes, distinct yet interrelated into instrument’s validity.
