Background Sleep disturbance is a common issue among rotating night shift workers and closely related to health risks. The present study aimed determine the effectiveness of pharmacological non-pharmacological sleep interventions for management workers. Methods For this systematic review meta-analysis, we searched six electronic databases—EMBASE, CINAHL, Cochrane Library, PubMed, Scopus, Web Science—for randomized controlled trials clinical published from January 1990 June 2022. quality eligible studies was independently assessed by three authors using Joanna Briggs Institute Critical Appraisal Checklist quasi-experimental studies. meta-analysis performed based on random effects model Comprehensive Meta-Analysis software. conducted following Preferred Reporting Items Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses guidelines. Results Of 1019 retrieved, 30 met inclusion criteria review; 25 were selected meta-analysis. categorized as follows: approach ( n = 7), light therapy 9), cognitive behavioral aroma or alternative 4), schedule modification 3). overall mean effect size moderate (Hedges' g 0.59; 95% confidence interval 0.33–0.84, z 4.50, p < 0.001).
