Abstract Study Objectives Despite the negative impact of poor sleep on mental health, evidence-based insomnia management guidelines have not been translated into routine healthcare. Here, we evaluate a state-wide knowledge translation effort to disseminate and education graduate psychology programs online using RE-AIM (reach, effectiveness, adoption, implementation, maintenance) evaluation framework. Methods Using non-randomized waitlist control design, students attended validated 6-hour workshop delivered live as part their program in Victoria, Australia. Sleep knowledge, attitudes, practice assessments were conducted pre- post-program, with long-term feedback collected at 12 months. Results Seven out ten adopted (adoption rate = 70%). The reached 313 students, research participation 81%. was effective improving students’ self-efficacy manage disturbances cognitive behavioral therapy for (CBT-I), compared medium-to-large effect sizes (all p < .001). Implementation positive, 96% rating very good-to-excellent. Twelve-month maintenance data demonstrated that 83% had used knowledge/skills learned clinical practice. However, more practical training is required achieve CBT-I competency. Conclusions Online workshops can be scaled deliver cost-effective foundational students. This will accelerate improve health outcomes nationwide.

Based on previous data reporting the status of health professionals' training about sleep clinical psychophysiology, insomnia, and its treatment in US Canada, this paper aims at providing a snapshot Italian situation, considering professionals qualified to offer cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Adding information different countries is important, as national systems differ significantly, distinct evidence-based pathways for change may be proposed. Two hundred thirteen CBT (180 females; 33 males) answered 5 min survey their experience recognizing treating disorders practice. The questionnaire was diffused through mailing list Behavioral Cognitive Therapy Society (Società Italiana di Terapia Comportamentale e Cognitiva, SITCC) throughout December 2023 January 2024. A total 213 participants completed survey. Only minor proportion respondents (37.1%) reported having received diagnosis insomnia or other disorders. Familiarity with psychological therapeutics mainly associated knowledge hygiene rules, relaxation, mindfulness techniques, but not core strategies (i.e., restriction stimulus control) regulation. less familiar were those pediatric insomnia. results study highlight scarce consideration problems practice Italy. Insomnia is a widespread sleep disorder associated with physical and mental health conditions. Although the heterogeneity of insomnia presentations has been acknowledged, research investigating clinically meaningful subtypes still ongoing. This study aimed at exploring according to widely-used measures symptoms severity quality among Italian university students using latent profile analysis. Data were collected from 490 reporting relevant through an online cross-sectional survey comprising Severity Index, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality 21-item Depression Anxiety Stress Scale, Short Form-12. Latent analysis identified five subtypes. The severe (8.8%) group showed highest severity, diverse complaints concerning daytime functioning. Moderate duration (8.4%) moderate medication use (15.9%) subgroups characterized by middle range problems continuity use, respectively. Subthreshold latency (20.4%) subthreshold (46.5%) groups attenuated symptoms. Higher psychological worse life greater complaints.
