The purpose of this study was to summarize the motivational factors in a project team, focusing on three key roles: team members, managers, and leaders. A systematic review conducted using PRISMA approach identify relevant studies published between 2004 2024. 127 peer-reviewed articles were selected from Web Science database. bibliometric analysis performed VOSviewer software visualize trends clusters. revealed surge interest research after 2021, highlighting motivation’s special role management. Transformational shared leadership are identified as most motivating projects. seven main categories team: psychological factors, goal orientation, social job design, training development, financial incentives, organizational support. However, these have their characteristics, emphasizing that motivation is not universal concept but dynamic role-dependent construct. While members motivated by emotional support, clear goals, rewards, managers value strategic influence professional leaders driven task complexity intrinsic rewards. noticeable gap lack attention leader. Purpose This article seeks to examine how structural alignment (SA) and guided governance (GG), key components of team management (TT), mediate the connection between talent (TM) competitive performance (CP) hotels. Design/methodology/approach The study employed a quantitative methodology by administering surveys 330 hotel executives in Egypt gather necessary data.
