In rural areas of China, the challenges efficient and cost-effective distribution are exacerbated by underdeveloped infrastructure low population density, with last mile logistics posing a significant obstacle. To address gap in drone application for areas, truck–drone model was developed based on specific conditions regions. The improved fuzzy C-means algorithm (FCM) genetic simulated annealing (GASA) were employed to tackle real−world cases areas. focus system is optimize process, reduce delivery time, minimize costs while considering factors such as maximum mileage trucks drones well customer priority. Compared traditional methods, this has demonstrated notable improvements efficiency cost reduction, offering valuable insights practical applications logistics.

This study investigates the use of drones and Internet Drones (IoDs) in healthcare supply chains (HSCs), highlighting opportunities challenges integrating them to respond HSCs disruptions, an area that is currently under-examined chain literature. A mixed methods approach employed this research. The article establishes important contributions. Firstly, it evaluates integrates current research provide new insights for dealing with pandemics other similar emergencies. Secondly, framework reveals relevant political, economic, social, technological, environmental, legal influencing factors disruptions. Thirdly, analysis through SCOR provided a hierarchical process model enabled by IoDs. Fourthly, paper provides shift from people-dependent technology-dependent HSCs. Promising future directions are indicated advance on topic.
