Child maltreatment (CM) is correlated with suicidality risk among adolescents. Additionally, exposure to bisphenol AF (BPAF) may increase this risk. However, the combined effect of CM and BPAF remains unknown should be further investigated. In study, 1,475 early adolescents (mean age = 12.48 years) from Chinese Early Adolescents Cohort were enrolled. Data collected at three time points an interval 12 months between 2019 2021. Participants' history (including suicidal ideation attempts) evaluated using a self-report questionnaire. Blood samples obtained participants measure serum concentrations baseline. Group-based trajectory modeling was employed identify different developmental trajectories across waves. After adjusting for potential confounders, association on attempts assessed logistic regression Poisson analyses. Participants associated one- two-year incident (all ps < 0.05), levels positively (adjusted OR 1.68, 95% CI: 1.13–2.50). middle high synergistically ORs 2.00–3.83). Similarly, exposed high-level as well greater than those low-level no incidence rate ratio [IRRs] 2.82–4.34). Moreover, compared low waves, exhibited significant synergistic in persistently increasing 0.05). Sex subgroup analysis revealed that females more susceptible males. Environmental factors psychological status individuals their susceptibility suicidality. These results offer novel insights into enhancing our understanding
