Among the pyrethroid insecticides used in Algeria against a wide range of agricultural pests is lambda-cyhalothrin (LCT). The aim this study was to investigate beneficial effects Lavendula stoechas essential oil on hematotoxicity and nephrotoxicity insecticide lambda cyhalothrin rabbits (Cuniculus Lepus). Twenty-seven (27) healthy local rabbits, with an average weight 1.8 kg, were divided into three groups nine each: first group considered as control, second treated (100 mg/kg/BW) (LCT) third mixture (500 mg/ kg/BW) Lavandula s. (LS.EO). doses tested occurred daily diet over 4-week period. Blood analysis revealed significant variations haemogram between control groups. A highly increase recorded white blood cell, lymphocyte count LCT-treated compared (P<0.001), very decreases observed Red Cell (RED), Hematocrit (HCT) Hemoglobin(HGB) levels (P<0.001; P<0.0001), same result obtained for erythrocyte indices . Biochemical renal parameters showed urea creatinine concentrations respectively versus P<0.0001). In contrast, addition lavendula improved previous hematological biochemical alterations.
