It will take years before we can understand and measure the full toll that COVID-19 pandemic has taken on our health systems. Of many reverberations from pandemic, one of most concerning implications is an increase in rates preventable harm. Four unprecedented demand healthcare services combined with human resource shortages clinician burnout have pushed systems to brink - are impacting capacity improve or even maintain standards care.
