Objectives: This longitudinal study was designed to examine the growth trajectory of depressive symptoms among early-stage college students and how development vigorous, moderate, light leisure-time physical activity (LTPA) related trajectory. Participants: Four hundred eighty-eight first- second-year undergraduate completed measures LTPA at beginning, middle, end a semester. Methods: Latent mixture modeling (LGMM) conducted. Results: On average, reported mild levels with significant variability semester start, but elevated over time. LGMM identified two trajectories: low/gradual (75.8%) high/increasing (24.2%). For both groups, neither vigorous nor moderate predicted symptoms. However, change negatively significantly associated Even when controlling for covariances, increased still had unique effect on buffering Conclusion: There is great potential in targeting comprehensive strategies improve students' mental health promote an active lifestyle.

This study aims to identify trajectories depression, anxiety, and stress related factors for different trajectory classes. The data were collected from a longitudinal survey over four consecutive years, 2473 included in analysis. used piecewise growth mixture model determine subtrajectories, multinomial logistic regression was constructed investigate affecting subtrajectories. results revealed that subtrajectories include low stable class, increasing decreasing then high class. class only presents anxiety stress. Regarding factors, BMI sleep hours identified as depression; gender associated with anxiety; hometown location Extroversion personality, relationship classmates, siblings, father’s education level other Considering experience multiple stress, psychological intervention should be carried out each

Individuals need convey a higher adaptability than ever before order face changes brought by development. Especially for college students critical period development, having good is great significance their future choice This study conducted cross-sectional survey 692 engineering undergraduates at top university China used data investigate relationship between professional identity (professional interest, strength, prospects, satisfaction) students, as well discuss mediating role learning engagement adaptability. The results correlation analysis showed that was positively correlated with mediation effect model indicated played Chinese students. In other words, had direct positive impact on adaptability, while identity, mediated engagement, recommends colleges provide more conducive academic environment opportunities practice. General self-efficacy plays a critical role in the development of college students, and mastering students' general is helpful to explain behavior psychological performance. Based on data from same cohort students for four consecutive years, this study used piecewise growth mixture model identify developmental trajectories self-efficacy, built multinomial logistic regression analyze related predictors different trajectories, further compared differences depression symptoms trajectories. Three were identified: stable-rising (8.7%), stable-decreasing (2.4%), moderate stable (88.9%). With class as reference, gender extraversion are stable-increasing class; gender, extraversion, mother's education level, university tier significantly predict who fall into class. also has significant predictive effect belong However, age, ethnicity, siblings, hometown location, father's BMI, sleep, major not predictors. Furthermore, mean between latent classes significant, scores beyond normal range third fourth years. To promote mental health, we suggest that colleges provide more specific interventions based classification.
