Banjar Jempanang memiliki tiga ekosistem utama selain pemukiman, yaitu hutan, perkebunan kopi, dan riparian. Ketiga tipe tersebut karakteristik yang ditunjukkan oleh struktur komposisi spesies tumbuhan berbeda. Meskipun demikian, kajian terhadap berbeda di suatu lingkup area masih sangat terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan komunitas pada menggunakan metode plot dilanjutkan dengan analisis vegetasi. Berdasarkan hasil vegetasi, hutan pohon terbanyak (16 spesies). Pada bentuk pertumbuhan tiang, kopi riparian sama-sama 13 spesies. Untuk pancang, Jenis INP (Indeks Nilai Penting) tertinggi adalah Tabernaemontana sphaerocarpa (48,31%) pohon, Polyscias nodosa (80,34%) Areca triandra (129,66%) pancang. perkebunan, Magnolia champaca (85,33%) Leucaena leucocephala (74,61%) Coffea arabica (166,30%) riparian, Swietenia mahagoni (79,51%) tiang (68,45%), serta Gliricidia sepium pancang (40,93%). Indeks Keanekaragaman, ketiga nilai rentang 1-3 termasuk dalam keanekaragaman sedang. Dominasi < 0,5 menunjukkan tidak ada dominasi jenis, Keseragaman > sebaran jenis merata. Menjangan Island is located in the West Bali National Park area which has a rich variety of flora and fauna. The ecosystem on consists several habitat types, namely savanna, coastal forest lowland monsoon forest, are habitats for bird communities. However, human activity places potential to cause disruption aim this research was analyze use vegetation by communities Island, Park. method collecting data species carried out using point count with radius 50 m morning, afternoon evening. The Sumberjati Resort Area, Perhutani Forest Management Unit (KPH) Jember, is a production area and protected forest.
