Metasurface that achieves extraordinary terahertz transmission (ETT) and local electric field enhancement (FE) holds significant potential for studies involving extremely low concentrations of target materials. In this study, we explore a composite aperture metasurface capable both ETT FE. By inserting bow-tie apertures in the “minimum-resonance” zone between four adjacent rhombic lattices, FE factor is achieved. Notably, adjusting configuration enhances coupling surface plasmons, thereby expanding bandwidth. Through parameter optimization, peak exceeding 95% transmittance above 80% frequency range 2.44–3.65 THz, while simultaneously exhibiting maximum 1005 at 3.45 THz. This approach offers promising avenue design metasurfaces spectroscopy biosensor applications.
