Benefiting from the extraordinary ability of manipulating lightwaves at subwavelength scale, nanostructured metasurfaces are expected to achieve multifunctional and multichannel integration expand functionality increase information capacity. However, always consist various anisotropic nanostructures, inevitably bringing challenges design fabrication. In this study, we propose a concept dual-orientation-degeneracy containing twofold orientation degeneracy. The first-level degeneracy is one-to-four mapping scheme between intensity Channel 1 angle second-level refers one-to-two 2 angle. Additionally, provide minimalist bi-functional tri-channel image displays based on single-size metasurface. designed metasurface integrates two functionalities nanoprinting holography, which can generate continuous grayscale meta-image, binary meta-image phase-only holographic image. Three channel be readily switched by polarization controls. More importantly, achieved merely reconfiguring angles nanostructures with fixed geometries, relieving structure fabrication burden. presented strategy universal applicable, contribute advanced research applications in ultra-compact displays, high-dense optical storage, multi-folded anti-counterfeiting, etc.
