Smartphones have become an integral part of people's everyday lives. are used across all household locations, including in the bed at night. Smartphone screens and other displays emit blue light, exposure to light can affect one's sleep quality. Thus, smartphone use prior bedtime could disrupt quality sleep, but research lacks quantitative studies on how influence sleep. This study combines application data from 75 participants with collected by a wearable ring. On average, their smartphones for 322.8 s (5 min 22.8 s), IQR 43.7-456. Participants spent average 42% time using (IQR 5.87-55.5%). Our findings indicate that has significant adverse effects latency, awake time, heart rate, HR variability. We also find does not decrease when outside bed. results intense alone negatively well-being. Introduction: Excessive use of internet can lead to "Internet Addiction". A sharp rise in the number users among adolescents Bhutan have been observed lately which could potential side-effects on their health. The aim this study was find prevalence addiction and psychological co-morbidities secondary school-going adolescents. Methods: This is a descriptive cross-sectional quan-qual sequential mixed method design with quantitative component qualitative component. conducted between 1st May 30st November 2017 twelve schools across after taking ethical clearance from Research Ethics Board Health Bhutan. Data were doubleentered EpiData Entry, validated imported into STATA version 12.0 for analysis. Point estimate at 95% CI calculated along frequency proportion binary data. Results: Among 721 selected schools, 248 (34.440%) , Confidence Interval (31-38%). Out total 586 (81%) preferred smartphone 388 (54%) actually using it.
