Research
on
the
environmental
sustainability

nutrient

ABSTRACT
The
global
shrimp
processing
industry
generates
substantial
amounts
of
solid
waste
(head,
abdominal
exoskeleton,
and
tail),
with
a
considerable
part
currently
being
disposed
in
landfills.
It
holds
significant
potential
as
an
alternative
ingredient
aquaculture
feed
due
to
its
relatively
high
crude
protein
content,
balanced
amino
acid
profile,
presence
bioactive
compounds.
However,
one
the
main
challenges
is
rapid
spoilage.
Consequently,
must
undergo
further
refinement

shrimp‐derived
products
suitable
ingredients,
such
meal,
hydrolysate,
or
silage.

literature
review

nutritional
