The distribution of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) in Laizhou Bay affects the local socio-economic development. study aimed to investigate ARGs rivers that flow into sea around Bay's southern shore. Water and sediment samples were collected from different typical sites entering Weifang, including Mi River, Bai Lang Yu Wei Jiaolai Xiaoqing River Di River. species abundance sediments characterized quantified by macro-genome high-throughput sequencing technology. was compared. In two seven water samples, 24 types 1244 subtypes detected, which multidrug-resistant class main type FBJ murine osteosarcoma viral oncogene homolog B (fosB) dominant ARGs. ARG top ten these same, although proportion different. Dominant accounted for more than 50% all nine samples. This article provides basic data support pollution status environmental risk assessment as well remediation along south coast Bay.
