As our understanding of Covid-19 has grown, numerous techniques for preventing its spread have emerged. Scholars and practitioners in public health focused on four important prevention strategies: behavioural, technical, biomedical, structural/community-level interventions. Recent material these areas provides an overview current preventive breakthroughs. Current COVID-19 models, which build traditional techniques, use intimate partners, families, social media, emerging technology, prescription therapy, immunization, regulatory changes to influence change. Despite significant success, more action is required meet the national goal stopping epidemic. Government non-governmental organizations are uniquely positioned promote science collaboration with cross-disciplinary professionals from other domains.

<abstract><sec> <title>Background</title> <p>With its abrupt and huge health socio-economic consequences, the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic has led to a uniquely demanding, intensely stressful, even traumatic period. Healthcare workers (HCW), especially nurses, were exposed mental challenges during those challenging times.</p> </sec><sec> <title>Objectives</title> <p>Review current literature on problems among nurses caring for COVID-19 patients.</p> <title>Methods</title> <p>This is narrative review critical evaluation of relevant publications.</p> <title>Results</title> <p>Nurses experienced higher levels stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, frustration, stigma, depersonalization compared other HCW. Factors that increased this symptomatology included concerns about infection or family members, inadequate staff protective equipment, extended working hours, insufficient information, reduced sense security, post-traumatic stress disorder. The factors improved psychopathology general positive attitude, job satisfaction, adequate information education, harmonious group relationships, development, emotional intelligence, psychological counseling, mindfulness-based reduction, stable leadership, guidance, moral practical administrative support.</p> <title>Conclusions</title> <p>Recent studies clearly show women, are most vulnerable subgroup HCW particularly prone impacts pandemic. documented vulnerability frontline nursing requires preventive management actions increase resilience develop defense mechanisms.</p> </sec></abstract>

Abstract Background No sector was spared from the devastations of global COVID-19 pandemic, which subjected health workers to unrivalled distressing experiences owing strained systems. Despite documented evidence that exacerbated workers’ mental challenges in many parts world, there are limited qualitative data on how Windhoek, were affected. This study explored direct care patients infected with affected wellness Windhoek. Methods a using grounded theory design purposively recruit and interview until saturation, reached at 21 interviews. The interviews conducted English face-to-face, digitally recorded (with participants’ consent), transcribed word-for-word manually analysed inductive thematic analysis. Results Participants included three medical doctors, nine nurses, physiotherapists, six caregivers. Our analysis produced five main themes twelve subthemes: (i) nature (negative positive experiences); (ii) triggers (psychological distress, work-related psychosocial factors, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms moral distress); (iii) responses (iv) coping strategies (building nurturing resilience, fulfilment career obligation maladaptive response); (v) deterrents health-seeking (stigma fear breach confidentiality, prioritising patient-care over self-care ignorance, unawareness services) Conclusion provides important insights into faced by while caring for Namibia. These lessons should be considered when developing programmes staff working similar contexts.

Abstract Objective The purpose of this study is to examine the national impact workplace factors during SARS-CoV-2 pandemic on mental health experienced by non-physician healthcare workers (HCWs). Methods This consisted an online sample HCWs across United States, including nurses, medical assistants, and physician assistants. survey 93 questions, which included Perceived Stress Scale, Center for Epidemiological Studies-Depression (CESD-10) scale, questions about COVID-19 vaccination, sources trusted information, work environment training pandemic. Descriptive statistics were used evaluate associations. Results In final ( N = 220), (81.8%) reported receiving at least one dose a COVID vaccine. Most respondents CDC’s information virus disease.
