Genetically
engineered
(GE)
crops
have
the
potential
to
contribute
agricultural
sustainability,
food
security,
and
nutritional
enrichment.
However,
these
cannot
be
released
for
commercial
cultivation
without
undergoing
environmental
risk
assessments
(ERA),
thus
biosafety
evaluation.
ERA
are
performed
comparatively
with
their
natural
non-GE
counterparts.
As
Bangladesh
is
progressing
GE
potato
research,
present
study
aims
collect
baseline
information
on
an
emphasis
current
agronomic
practices
focusing
fertilizer
management
farmers’
knowledge
base.

Growing
awareness
of
antimicrobial
resistance
(AMR)
in
livestock
production
has
led
to
calls
for
the
development
alternatives
such
as
peptides
(AMPs)
that
are
also

combat
infectious
diseases

animals.
