This
study
investigated
the
optimization
of
remanufacturing
process
for
spent
Ni–Mo/γ-Al2O3
catalysts
utilized
in
hydrodesulfurization
(HDS)
reactions.
The
proposed
encompasses
essential
steps,
including
oil
washing,
partial
incineration,
acid
leaching,
and
complete
aimed
at
restoring
physicochemical
properties
catalysts.
incorporation

hydrocarbons
sulfur
compounds,
leading
to
notable
recovery
surface
area
pore
volume.
However,
vanadium
was
insufficient
with
alone,
necessitating
use
an
optimized
acid-leaching

superior
performance

reactions
compared
their
fresh
counterparts.
