The article examines the problem of access population Sub-Saharan Africa to clean water and its impact on keeping high mortality rates in region from communicable diseases. It is revealed that despite increase indicators water, situation for countries remains extremely difficult, due fact more than 20% still uses only unsafe sources. critical persists Madagascar, DR Congo, CAR, Chad, Angola, where a third does not have water. limitation sources hinders passage epidemiological transition by population: most region, proportion deaths diseases exceeds chronic non-communicable injuries, which indicates incompleteness second stage transition. associated with use almost 3 times higher global average.
