Regions rich in natural resources often exhibit a high dependency on revenue from Revenue Sharing Funds (DBH). This can pose long-term challenges, especially when commodity prices experience significant fluctuations. study examines the role of Natural Resources (DBH SDA) economic growth 491 regencies/cities Indonesia during 2010–2012 period. The analysis employs panel data regression. selection this period was based occurrence resource boom characterized by surge global demand for commodities, accompanied an increase prices. condition positively impacted revenues both nation and resource-rich regions. results show that is not influenced DBH SDA but rather General Allocation (DAU). indicates central government still plays determining at regency/city level Indonesia. need to prioritize diversification reduce reliance DAU. This study aims to investigate the complex relationship between vertical fiscal imbalance, public expenditure structure, and income distribution disparities, with goal of providing policy insights for achieving shared prosperity. Employing Generalized Method Moments (GMM) threshold analysis, research reveals key findings: (1) an exacerbation imbalance significantly widens urban-rural gap; (2) structure exhibits effects, resulting in non-linear impacts on disparity; (3) a unique contribution our is identification varying effects urban disparities within rural areas, gap them, underscoring need targeted interventions. This paper aims to analyze the influence of local revenues, unconditional grants, and total population on regional expenditure in six provinces Sulawesi, Indonesia. Panel data covering period from 2013 2023 were analyzed using fixed effects model (FEM) STATA software. The results show that revenue has a significant positive effect (β = 0.366; p-value 0.000 < 0.05), grant 0.501; 1.207; 0.001 0.05). considerable disparities, with Southeast Sulawesi North displaying highest dependency central funds, while South exhibits relatively greater fiscal independence. These findings highlight need for policy reforms strengthen generation, minimize reliance government transfers, prioritize investments infrastructure. Such strategies are crucial ensuring sustainability, enhanced autonomy, long-term growth.
