Objectives: This study aimed to describe the impact of COVID-19 on maternal and child health service utilization in Eastern part Ethiopia. Methods: Comparative analysis was used examine 2 years utilization. Data were extracted from client registers. A traditional Expert Modeler one-way Analysis Variance compare before during pandemic. Results: total 34,576 records reviewed, which 17,100 (49.5%) 17,476 (50.5%) had visited MCH pandemic, respectively. The visit has shown a 2% percentage point increase. However, postnatal care immunization services showed decrease. Moreover, there significant difference between visits (f = 4.6, p < 0.04). Conclusion: Mothers children have missed or unattended facility appointments due protective impositions fear getting infected with COVID-19, might suggest higher proportion issues not addressed system should therefore improve its resilience strengthen access at lowest inlets.
