Introduction
In
the
context

climate
change,
cities
play
a
crucial
role
in
promoting
green
transformation,
ecological
construction,

achieving
sustainable
development
goals.
This
study
aims
to
explore
impact
digital
economy
environmental
governance
on
urban
development.
Methods
Based
data
from
280
prefecture-level
China
2007
2022,
we
construct
new
indicator
system
measure
Using
spatial
error
model,
analyze
relationship
between
economy,
governance,
innovation.
Results
The
findings
indicate
that
significantly
promotes
development,
with
its
influenced
by
geographical
location
human
capital.
Environmental
further
enhances
this
positive
effect,
making
an
essential
driver

implementation
China’s
“Broadband
China”
policy
has
strengthened
infrastructure,
fostering
innovation
intercity
cooperation.
Discussion
highlights
need
for
policymakers
consider
heterogeneity
capital
disparities
when
formulating
strategies.
