Purpose. Justification and application of the analysis method moose occurrence in Kyiv based on mass media data with further its spatial chronological distribution. Methods. System analysis, cartographic, statistical. Results. As a result study from beginning 2010 to October 2024, 26 separate cases within transformed environment were found proximity city. The first case was reported May 2015. Based these data, methodology developed, table map compiled, which allowed for appearance Kyiv. Conclusions. Using Kyiv, three natural nurseries city identified: Svyatoshynskyi (Svyatoshynske forestry), Holosiivskyi (Holosiivskyi forest Lisnyky sight) Darnytskyi (Darnytske forestry). Moose can penetrate into urban more than 2 km, some - 6 overcoming significant anthropogenic obstacles, particular Dnipro River intensive river transport traffic. Two periods increased occurrences identified 2017-2024 2023-2024. Preliminary assumptions regarding reasons period are ban hunting since 2017, second complete 2022.
