Background The rising prevalence of cognitive impairment among older adults poses a significant public health challenge. While wooden toys are traditionally regarded as tools for stimulation, research on their potential relationship with function in remains limited. Both bivariate analysis multivariable linear regression were performed assess toy function. Results Among participants, 22.2% reported having experience toys. Older who played regularly or occasionally demonstrated significantly better performance compared those had never played. Importantly, frequency varied across age groups. Specifically, 60–64 engaged scored higher than did not. Similarly, participants 65–69 also exhibited superior scores. Multivariable confirmed that participation activities positively associated ( B = 0.86, 95% CI: 0.14–1.57 MMSE model; 0.99, 0.16–1.83 MoCA model). Conclusion highlights positive emerged critical factor this relationship, levels linked outcomes.
