Wild fauna and flora are facing variable challenging environmental disturbances. One of the animal groups that is most impacted by this, concerns pollinators. Pollinators face multiple threats, but spread anthropogenic chemicals (i.e. pesticides) form a major potential driver these threats. WildPosh multi-actor, transdisciplinary project whose overarching mission ambition to significantly improve evaluation risk pesticide exposure wild pollinators, enhance sustainable health pollinators pollination services in Europe. As chemical varies geographically, across cropping systems, inside crop system among we will characterise doing fieldwork 4 countries representing four main climatic European regions, Mediterranean, Atlantic, Continental Boreal climate Germany, England, Estonia Spain. We also develop experiments controlled conditions on different species bees, syrphid flies, moths butterflies, collect silico data their traits toxicity pesticides. With WildPosh, aim achieve following objectives: 1. Determining real-world agrochemical profile at landscape level, within sites; 2. Using integrated laboratory semi-field causal relationships between pesticides pollinator health; 3. Building an open database traits/distribution define scenarios developing databases ecological spatial distribution relation pesticide; 4. Proposing systems-based assessment tools for pollinators; 5. Driving policy practice through interactive innovation, meeting need monitoring tools, novel innovative screening protocols policymaker use.
