The developments that are occurring in relation to Industry 4.0 making it possible automate a huge number of production activities. Automation includes the possibility automatically identifying individual elements system. One options for doing this involves use Bluetooth Low Energy technology. system’s advantages lie its wide availability, economic simplicity, ability design system elements, and overall architecture. applied case study presented article consisted beacons from Accent Systems identification gateways based on Raspberry Pi Zero W device. During several hours testing, functionality reliability all components was demonstrated. measurements showed able determine distance gate line sight with 94% accuracy. With regards indirect visibility, when metal crate used shield beacon gateway, exact only 22% time. However, variance between actual measured values found be small, therefore proving sufficient most cases. major advantage beacons, technology general, is massive ubiquity market.
