Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection is a common cause of liver-related morbidity and mortality. Evidence suggests that angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs) angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs) decrease liver fibrosis, an intermediate step between injury hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Our aim was to investigate the association use ACEIs ARBs on incident HCC mortality among patients with HBV infection.

Whether the cardiovascular treatment benefits of sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 inhibitors (SGLT-2is) and glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RAs) differ by baseline use statins/lipid lowering therapy is unclear. This systematic review meta-analysis investigated whether statin (users vs non-users) influences kidney SGLT-2is GLP-1RAs in patients with type diabetes (T2D).
