The global pivot towards sustainable energy solutions necessitates a closer examination of green hydrogen production using renewable sources. This study aimed to assess the feasibility and efficiency on an industrial scale solar wind in Diyala city, Iraq. Experimental weather data, including irradiance, ambient temperature, speed, were meticulously collected throughout 2022. analysis indicated that, for energy, optimum electrolyser capacity that matched 1.5 MW turbine achieved 11,963 kg/year, with associated costs $8.87/kg. In contrast, when focusing ideal harmonizing 2 photovoltaic generated notably higher output 94,432 kg/year at more competitive cost $6.33/kg. These findings underscore potential economic advantages solar-based over wind-based methods city. Furthermore, significant difference yields between two emphasizes need optimize infrastructure based location-specific resources. offers valuable insights into tailoring strategies regions similar climatic conditions serves as blueprint future energy-driven initiatives.

This paper provides an in-depth review of the current state and future potential hydrogen fuel cell vehicles (HFCVs). The urgency for more eco-friendly efficient alternatives to fossil-fuel-powered underlines necessity HFCVs, which utilize gas power onboard electric motor, producing only water vapor heat. Despite their impressive energy efficiency ratio (EER), higher power-to-weight ratio, substantial emissions reduction potential, widespread implementation HFCVs is presently hindered by several technical infrastructural challenges. These include high manufacturing costs, relatively low density hydrogen, safety concerns, durability issues, insufficient refueling infrastructure, complexities storage transportation. Nevertheless, technological advancements policy interventions offer promising prospects suggesting they could become a vital component sustainable transportation in future.
