Background: Paullinia cupana Kunth, popularly known as guarana, a native Amazonian shrub cultivated by the Sateré-Mawé ethnic group, has been used in traditional medicine for various purposes, including stimulant and therapeutic actions, due to its chemical composition, which is rich bioactive compounds. This study explored reductive potential of guarana with nanobiotechnology aimed synthesize silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) using aqueous extract leaves collected during dry rainy seasons, assessing their biological catalytic activities. Methods: The AgNPs were synthesized water bath at 70 °C three hours then characterized techniques such UV-Vis spectroscopy, DLS, zeta potential, MET, NTA, EDX had effects on systems assessed vitro, well tests indicating probable influence time when plant material was properties nanostructures. Results: an average diameter between 39.33 126.2 nm, spherical morphology, absorption bands 410 450 high colloidal stability over two years. results showed antibacterial activity against all species tested, remarkable antioxidant action DPPH ABTS free radicals, same way leaf extracts P. cupana, addition cytotoxic cancerous (A431 A549) non-cancerous (HaCaT HNTMC) cells. active promastigote forms Leishmania (Leishmania) amazonensis while not affecting viability macrophages, from LC50 LC90 values, more effective than metal salt solution controlling Aedes aegypti larvae pupae. We also reported that degradation organic dyes methylene blue (MB) methyl orange (MO) 90% after 40 or 14 min, respectively. Conclusions: Thus, our support seasonal produce diverse application possibilities health, industrial, environmental sectors.
