Flavonoids are phytochemical compounds present in many plants, fruits, vegetables, and leaves, with potential applications medicinal chemistry. possess a number of benefits, including anticancer, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral properties. They also have neuroprotective cardio-protective effects. These biological activities depend upon the type flavonoid, its (possible) mode action, bioavailability. cost-effective components significant activities, their effectiveness has been proved for variety diseases. The most recent work is focused on isolation, synthesis analogs, effects human health using techniques animal models. Thousands flavonoids successfully isolated, this increases steadily. We therefore made an effort to summarize isolated useful order gain better understanding health.

Abstract The increasing antimicrobial resistance requires continuous investigation of new agents preferably derived from natural sources. New powerful antibacterial can be produced by simply combining oils that are known for their activities. In this study, apricot seed oil (ASO), date (DSO), grape (GSO), and black (BSO) alone in binary mixtures were assessed. Fatty acid profiles individual showed linoleic acid, oleic palmitic stearic linolenic contents. Linoleic was the most abundant fatty all samples except ASO, where dominant one. GSO highest total phenolic content while ASO lowest Antibacterial screening performed against Escherichia coli , Klebsiella pneumoniae Pseudomonas aeruginosa Proteus mirabilis Staphylococcus aureus . Results activity tested strains S. Highest recorded P. ASO-GSO mixture (AG) best it synergistic interactions conclusion, likely to show promising activities specific strains.

ABSTRACT This review examines the incorporation of date seeds, often regarded as a neglected waste product, into food packaging composites, highlighting their potential to enhance sustainability and functionality. Date seeds are abundant in insoluble fibres including cellulose, hemicellulose lignin, which contribute hydrophobic properties play crucial role improving mechanical strength moisture barrier capabilities composites. Additionally, they rich bioactive compounds, polyphenols flavonoids, potent antioxidant antimicrobial activities. These extend shelf life products safety. The explores various physicochemical properties, revealing balance between transparency UV protection. Furthermore, it discusses impact on water solubility swelling emphasizing influence treatment methods levels. Preliminary findings demonstrate effectiveness these composites preserving models. However, further research is needed optimize formulations functional evaluate sensory acceptability. Overall, utilization presents promising avenue for developing innovative, eco‐friendly solutions that align with consumer needs goals.
