Textile wastewater containing dyes poses significant environmental hazards. Advanced oxidative processes, especially the heterogeneous photo-Fenton process, are effective in degrading a wide range of contaminants due to high conversion rates and ease catalyst recovery. This study evaluates photodegradation azo Acid Red 18 (AR18), 66 (AR66), Orange 2 (OR2) using magnetite as catalyst. The magnetic was synthesized via hydrothermal process at 150 °C. Experiments were conducted room temperature, investigating effect dosage, pH, initial concentrations H2O2 AR18 dye. Kinetic thermodynamic studies performed 25, 40, 60 °C for three (AR18, AR66, OR2) dye structures on degradation efficiency investigated. At 25 0.33 mmolL−1 pH 3.0, 1.4 gL−1 mgL−1 under UV radiation 16.7 mWcm−2, showed 62.3% AR18, 79.6% 83.8% OR2 180 min reaction. oxidation these conditions is spontaneous endothermic. pseudo-first-order kinetic constants indicated strong temperature dependence with an order reactivity type > AR66 which associated molecular size, steric hindrance, aromatic conjugation, electrostatic repulsion, nature acid–base interactions catalytic surface.

Water quality and usability are global concerns due to microbial chemical pollution resulting from anthropogenic activities. Therefore, strategies for eliminating contaminants required. In this context, the removal decrease in antibiotic activity (AA) associated with levofloxacin (LEV), using TiO2 Ag/TiO2 catalysts, without sunlight peroxydisulfate, was evaluated. Additionally, disinfection capacity of catalytic systems assessed. The catalysts were synthesized characterized. Moreover, effect Ag doping on visible light absorption determined. Then, photocatalytic treatment LEV water performed. materials characterization EPR analyses revealed that degradation AA ascribed a combined action solar light, sulfate radical, TiO2-based materials. Also, primary byproducts elucidated theoretical (predictions about moieties more susceptible being attacked by degrading species) experimental techniques (LC-MS), which evidenced transformations piperazyl ring, carboxylic acid, cyclic ether LEV. linked transformations. addition, system (i.e., light/catalyst/peroxydisulfate) shown be effective E. coli inactivation, indicating versatility decontamination disinfection.

Recently, water has become a resource that generates controversy due to shortage alarms and high consumption by production companies. Making good use of the main objective government institutions. The food industry large amount wastewater, concentrating largest number contaminants originated in its processes. Wastewater from is characterized having organic matter, especially fats oils, as well suspended solids. this research carry out characterization effluents generated wastewater treatment plant sector based on Mexican international regulations determine whether it reusable. This article addresses Mexico’s lag reuse treated face crisis, highlighting urgency adopting these practices mitigate scarcity. For development investigation, samples were collected at discharge point produced company’s effluents, followed an evaluation their physical, chemical, biological parameters, finally, was determined effluent follows regulatory standards for into city sewer but outside range productive processes or irrigation green areas.

Worldwide, over half of all preschool-aged children and two-thirds non-pregnant women reproductive age suffer from hidden hunger. This situation may worsen due to the expected increase in world population effects climate change. The objective this paper is conduct a review relationship between soil, plants, humans at nutritional level, factors that affect availability nutrients, sustainable strategies reduce hunger an organic waste utilization point view. Nutritional deficiency people begins with nutrient-deficient followed by crops do not meet humans’ needs. According previous studies, most agricultural soils are deficient nutrients; however, residues containing high concentrations minerals present non-edible parts discarded. New opportunities (based on circular economy strategy) opening up take advantage nutrient pool residues, such as preparation substrates (technosols) or amendments. Their incorporation into soil consider various circumstances ensure mineralization bioavailability nutrients for crops. Several agronomic practices methods monitor crop depletion can be considered among best mitigate through determining which foods should ingested, how process them mineral bioavailability.

Rapid population growth, urbanization, and diverse production materials have led to a surge in municipal solid waste (MSW), harming the environment, climate, sanitation. Despite China’s efforts implement MSW segregation policies, results been unsatisfactory. Research often emphasizes public participation, with less focus on entire policy implementation process. This paper employed Smith’s theoretical model comprehensively analyze challenges of implementing policy, using qualitative methods secondary data from literature documents. The findings revealed at four levels: formulation, agencies, target groups, external environment. Issues include ambiguity, unclear authority, government-enterprise cross-functionality, casual attitudes, implementer shortages, poor economic disparities. To address these, study recommends enhancing engagement, clarifying responsibilities among increasing financial support for disadvantaged areas improve implementation.
