A significant portion of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are usually allocated to the construction sector, which plays a vital role in many economies. SMEs currently face serious concerns regarding pursuit sustainability. Limited financial resources (FRs) frequently prevent from implementing sustainable practices. Therefore, these should mitigate expenses invest environmentally friendly initiatives. Enhancing developing ways accelerate Turkish SMEs’ shift toward sustainability is vital. Moreover, adopting artificial intelligence (AI) green innovation strategies (GISs) can boost competitive advantage (SCA) lead them success. This study utilized natural resource-based view theory (NRBV), developed compensate for RBV’s shortcomings by incorporating environment into framework. uses structural equation modeling (SEM) examine causal effect between variables based on responses received 228 executives within Turkey’s sector. Purpose: This study investigated strategic marketing alignment (SMA) and competitive advantage (CA) in SMEs with an emphasis on the moderating role of green entrepreneurship (GE). By focusing sustainability, resources, capabilities, light is shed importance GE for success small- medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Design/Methodology/Approach: A descriptive cross-sectional design a quantitative research approach relying structured questionnaires employed. The data collection resulted total 250 filled-out questionnaires. Participants were SME owners managers manufacturing, other sectors around Buffalo City Metropolitan, East London. Findings: results indicated that relationship between SMA CA was not statistically significant (p = 0.702) while had positive impact GE. supported direct effect CA. highlighted complete moderation Managerial/Policy implications: Management can take ecological sustainability.
