Background: Falls can cause a wide range of consequences from simple injury to life-threatening situations. As falls are major mortality and morbidity in older adults, it is important identify risk factors. Our aim was evaluate fall factors geriatric patients presenting the emergency department with variability group below above 85 years age (oldest old). Materials Methods: A total 132 admitted univer-sity hospital due were retrospectively analysed. Demographic characteristics chronic diseases patients, number drugs, previous history, unintentional weight loss, depressive symptoms, anaemia, urinary incontinence, fear falling, orthostatic hypotension recorded. Edmonton frail scale, clock-draw-ing test depression scale score also evaluated. Results: The mean our study population 80.5 ±8.3. While 80 (60.6%) age, 52 (39.4%) aged older. 62 (47%) found 10 (7.6%) patients. Fear falling observed 67 (50.8%) Polypharmacy present Frequency diabetes mellitus, frailty, walking aid usage need for regular caregiver significantly higher clock-drawing lower oldest old (p<0.05, all). Conclusions: common clearly revealed frequency department. frailty (over old) who presented falls, these even if there no history falling. Necessary precautions should be taken considering negative con-sequences falls.
