The suffering, pain and fear of death experienced by patients during the pandemic have evoked a wide range feelings emotions in healthcare professionals. Managing these is influenced factors such as emotional intelligence resilience. Recognising addressing can enhance quality care help prevent mental health issues. This study analyses relationship among death, resilience, along with sociodemographic variables professionals COVID‐19 pandemic. A descriptive, comparative correlational was conducted. Participants included from Neurosurgery, Pneumology, Emergency Service Floating Staff units tertiary‐level hospital Spain. Data were collected through an anonymous voluntary online survey, which data, Collett–Lester resilience scale. Participation voluntary. total 121 participated, predominantly women (85.12%), mean age 41.89 years (SD ± 9.6). Nurses compromised 64% sample. Health crises, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, challenge health systems in demonstrating resilience—the ability to cope with change, manage challenges, and adapt order retain their effectiveness. Understanding how challenges affect produce reactions those involved this response is extremely important. This study evaluated resilience three referral hospitals city of Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil—one public, one private, philanthropic hospital—by examining coping activities adopted by nursing staff working on frontline. A multiple case was carried out, using a qualitative approach, triangulating data from direct observations, document analysis, interviews 21 professionals management care provision. Data were collected April October 2020. The transcribed analyzed based categories defined Blanchet (2017): absorption capacity, adaptive transformative capacity. Four themes considered relevant objectives study: institutional support, access personal protective equipment (PPE), work relationships, fear mental health. Adaptive capacity demonstrated concerning four analyzed, two themes, no identified. highlighted that crisis challenging for all studied, regardless legal-administrative status. Abstract Objective The first wave of COVID-19 was challenging for healthcare workers. This study analyzed the ways coping with stress at a university hospital. Method A Sociodemographic Characterization, Risk and Exposure Assessment, Burnout Assessment Tool (BAT-23), Coping Scale were responded online by 181 professionals. Results sample composed mainly women, white, married, physicians, one job. This study aimed to assess psychosocial risk factors and Minor Mental Disorders (MMD), as well the possible effects of pandemic on 85 healthcare workers working in two hospitals city Campinas, SP (Brazil).This was an exploratory-descriptive, cross-sectional study, conducted through convenience sampling, utilizing online platform.The employed a Sociodemographic Occupational Questionnaire, SRQ-20 COPSOQ II instruments.The results indicated level for emotional demands, cognitive work pace.Suspicion MMD 65.9%, being moderately associated with Quantitative Demands Emotional Demands.The group that perceived worsening routine had significantly higher score suspicion MMD, more subject hiding emotions quantitative demands.It is concluded professionals who worked front line Covid-19 were several development MMD.Awareness these enhances understanding challenges needs faced by this professionals.It hoped his contribution will support future studies at further exploring issues.

Com o surgimento do vírus SARS-Cov 2 ou doença Covid-19 em dezembro de 2019 na China, ocorreu a determinação uma pandemia, que refletiu diretamente saúde dos profissionais trabalham área hospitalar. Segundo Ministério da Saúde, antes instituição vacina, estimava-se 20% casos necessitavam internação, devido à dificuldade respiratória, e 5% precisavam suporte ventilatório. Assim, foram instituídas altas cargas trabalho, longos plantões, aumento tempo paramentação isolamento social, levaram inúmeras consequências, como cansaço, afastamento família estresse. A inexperiência também foi relatada, pela intervir nas áreas não tinham atuação, ocasionando um sentimento fracasso impotência. Outros sentimentos evidenciados, medo transmitir ser contaminado, angústia, preocupação raiva, levou das funções diárias sociais. Sintomas ansiedade, depressão síndrome burnout prevalentes. Dessa forma, pensadas propostas sugestões para amenizar quadro, priorizar repouso intervalos entre as longas jornadas, oferta apoio emocional estímulos prática atividade física.

Durante a pandemia da COVID-19, uma emergência global responsável por mais de 6,63 milhões mortes, representou um evento infeccioso saúde pública em larga escala que foi pela modificação radical das estruturas e investimentos dos sistemas saúde. Diante deste cenário fragilidades mental profissionais ganhou destaque dentre as preocupações. Portanto, o presente artigo tem como objetivo discutir descrever, através revisão literatura, os impactos COVID-19 na enfermagem, compreendendo impacto psicológicos gerados nestes profissionais. Trata-se integrativa literatura pesquisa nas bases dados PUBMED, Scielo BVS. Foram incluídos artigos publicados entre 2020 2022, respondessem à pergunta pesquisa. Ao final, obteve-se amostra 16 artigos. Os principais sintomas referidos estes foram depressão, desânimo, ansiedade, preocupação, insônia estresse. Além disso, identificado depressão estão relacionados ao hábito fumar, anos trabalho, características do hospital, setores trabalho contato direto com paciente. Dessa forma, nota-se gerado enfermagem se tornou grave problema pública, assim, estudo reforça necessidade realização estudos fim gerar nos serviços saúde, demonstrando ofertar cuidado cuidador, principalmente no âmbito mental.
