Health
crises,

COVID-19
pandemic,
challenge
health
systems
in
demonstrating
resilience—the
ability
to
cope
with
change,
manage
challenges,
and
adapt

effectiveness.
Understanding
how
challenges
affect

reactions

extremely

This
study
evaluated
resilience
three
referral
hospitals
city
of
Recife,
Pernambuco,
Brazil—one
public,
one
private,
philanthropic
hospital—by
examining
coping
activities
adopted
by
nursing
staff
working

frontline.

case

out,
using
a
qualitative
approach,
triangulating
data
from
direct
observations,
document
analysis,
interviews

Abstract
Objective
The
first
wave
of
COVID-19
was
challenging
for
healthcare
workers.
This
study
analyzed
the
ways
coping
with
stress
at
a
university
hospital.
Method
A
Sociodemographic
Characterization,
Risk
and
Exposure
Assessment,
Burnout
Assessment
Tool
(BAT-23),
Coping
Scale
were
responded
online
by
181
professionals.
Results
sample
composed
mainly
women,
white,
married,
physicians,
one

Com
o
surgimento
do
vírus
SARS-Cov
2
ou
doença
Covid-19
em
dezembro
de
2019
na
China,
ocorreu
a
determinação
uma
pandemia,
que
refletiu
diretamente
saúde
dos
profissionais
trabalham
área
hospitalar.
Segundo
Ministério
da
Saúde,
antes
instituição
vacina,
estimava-se
20%
casos
necessitavam
internação,
devido
à
dificuldade
respiratória,
e
5%
precisavam
suporte
ventilatório.
Assim,
foram
instituídas
altas
cargas
trabalho,
longos
plantões,
aumento
tempo
paramentação
isolamento
social,
levaram
inúmeras
consequências,
como
cansaço,
afastamento
família
estresse.
A
inexperiência
também
foi
relatada,
pela
intervir
nas
áreas
não
tinham
atuação,
ocasionando
um
sentimento
fracasso
impotência.
Outros
sentimentos
evidenciados,
medo
transmitir
ser
contaminado,
angústia,
preocupação
raiva,
levou
das
funções
diárias
sociais.
Sintomas
ansiedade,
depressão
síndrome
burnout
prevalentes.
Dessa
forma,
pensadas
propostas
sugestões
para
amenizar
quadro,
priorizar
repouso
intervalos
entre
as
longas
jornadas,
oferta
apoio
emocional
estímulos
prática
atividade
física.

Durante
a
pandemia
da
COVID-19,
uma
emergência
global
responsável
por
mais
de
6,63
milhões
mortes,
representou
um
evento
infeccioso
saúde
pública
em
larga
escala
que
foi
pela
modificação
radical
das
estruturas
e
investimentos
dos
sistemas
saúde.
Diante
deste
cenário
fragilidades
mental
profissionais
ganhou
destaque
dentre
as
preocupações.
Portanto,
o
presente
artigo
tem
como
objetivo
discutir
descrever,
através
revisão
literatura,
os
impactos
COVID-19
na
enfermagem,
compreendendo
impacto
psicológicos
gerados
nestes
profissionais.
Trata-se
integrativa
literatura
pesquisa
nas
bases
dados
PUBMED,
Scielo
BVS.
Foram
incluídos
artigos
publicados
entre
2020
2022,
respondessem
à
pergunta
pesquisa.
Ao
final,
obteve-se
amostra
16
artigos.
Os
principais
sintomas
referidos
estes
foram
depressão,
desânimo,
ansiedade,
preocupação,
insônia
estresse.
Além
disso,
identificado
depressão
estão
relacionados
ao
hábito
fumar,
anos
trabalho,
características
do
hospital,
setores
trabalho
contato
direto
com
paciente.
Dessa
forma,
nota-se
gerado
enfermagem
se
tornou
grave
problema
pública,
assim,
estudo
reforça
necessidade
realização
estudos
fim
gerar
nos
serviços
saúde,
demonstrando
ofertar
cuidado
cuidador,
principalmente
no
âmbito
mental.
