Dental implants are nowadays a standard treatment to replace missing teeth and restore function aesthetics. However, biological complications associated with implants, e.g., peri-implant infections, common jeopardize the success of treatment. The main aim this thesis was explore strontium (Sr) as possible prevention strategy against since Sr has been shown have antibacterial action also promote titanium (Ti) implant osseointegration. In thesis, systematic appraisal literature about antimicrobial potential Sr-functionalized Ti surfaces for oral applications performed, followed by series in vitro studies assessing micro-organisms peri-implantitis. In this study, we intention to find if ICTP biomarker can be used diagnosis Materials and methods: 30 patients were included. On clinical examination, they divided into 3 groups 10 healthy, chronic periodontitis with diabetes patients. Unstimulated saliva was collected from these Presence salivary assessed using ELISA qPCR. Results: The highest levels seen Group periodontitis, followed by group 2 1. A statistically significant difference observed when compared 1 similarly 2. This review was conducted to assess and compare whether there is a difference in response adjunctive systemic locally delivered antibiotics along with nonsurgical periodontal therapy (NSPT) the treatment of peri-implantitis (PI) chronic periodontitis (CP). A systematic search literature on predefined criteria using PubMed, Embase, Scopus. Probing pocket depth, bleeding probing, clinical attachment level, microbial load reduction were selected as primary outcomes, whereas plaque index gingival evaluated secondary outcomes. Standard Cochrane risk-of-bias tools used for quality assessment included studies, qualitative data synthesis owing observed heterogeneity extracted data. Adjunctive local NSPT resulted additional beneficial effects cases both CP PI, greater improvement compared PI. Even among antibiotics, minocycline only antibiotic some significant benefits, when documented. Within limitations review, it concluded that use offers effect management PI; however, insufficient direct evidence regarding comparative efficacy PI CP.
