The paper deals with the application of microalgae in building's façade, regard to broader project comprising aspects environmental comfort academic spaces and energy consumption on-grid photovoltaic generation, as well investigation alternatives for improvement performance building envelopes. Thus, its main objective is interdisciplinary concepts involving Architecture Biotechnology, known by Black Ecologies, referring an investigative interest explore a new approach nature, not only related architectural space, but emergent focus. This relationship performed using photobioreactors microalgae, installed on façades buildings educational use. present work presents methodological outline research, based literature review case studies; complementary experimental methodologies are also presented contextualize subject feasibility. current state art showed terms international level, Brazilian context any further research was identified yet. In addition thermal performance, strategies will allow process sequestration carbon dioxide other GHG (greenhouse gases) that impacts climate change can contribute reach sustainable development. coincides discussions 2050 scenarios emission reduction, which were faced at recent COP-27 connections integrative way United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
