In the context of planning and construction new capital city Indonesia, referred to as Ibu Kota Negara (IKN), this article addresses spatial risks opportunities rainwater resources in area where IKN is planned. The relies on an inventory various physical data, which were used derive a flood susceptibility map, well rainfall data derived from public open sources. geospatial study drew software (ArcGIS Pro, 2.1.) Google Earth Engine platform (GEE). After analysis, we followed management design, took IPCC climate change scenarios into account. results demonstrated that southern coast has higher precipitation than northern area. To enhance efficacy planning, grid proposed mitigate risk harvest rainwater. Although varies throughout area, may vary even more with different predictions, it possible capture create system reduce reliance traditional water sources, alleviate stormwater runoff impact urban flooding. While will be developed by both regulated other population-driven developments, monitoring reflecting existing plans still necessary make sufficiently resilient sustainable.
