The trend toward online learning and assessment is seen as having greatly benefited higher education, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, its effectiveness to have a large impact on students' performance. Hence, this study aimed investigate factors that affect cognitive performance an extended period of learning. data were collected from one course (Electronics 2) offered second-year students Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Electronics) for four semesters: March–July 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022. Statistical analysis was carried out using Single Factor ANOVA Tukey HSD post-hoc test Microsoft Excel. findings shown achievement affected by compared face-to-face methods. Students need more time learn understand lessons, long run, main factor causes motivation decrease. As result, it has negative development students.
