Positive psychology has introduced the concept of character strengths, which are positive traits fundamental to well-being and mental health. Research on university students shown that these strengths impact psychoeducational variables personal functioning, acting as a protective factor in general student populations. This study aims analyze predictive relationships between self-efficacy determine their joint contribution predicting academic self-efficacy. The was quantitative, correlational-causal, cross-sectional, using non-probabilistic sample 668 Venezuelan (68.86% women, average age 20.52 years). scales used Growing Strong measure General Self-Efficacy Scale, Scale Specific Academic Situations. Este estudio evalúa la procrastinación en estudiantes de primer año Licenciatura Medicina Veterinaria y Zootecnia Universidad Autónoma Zacatecas (UAZ), analizando su impacto el rendimiento académico bienestar emocional. Se aplicó una encuesta estructurada a 53 estudiantes, revelando que 47% tiende comenzar tareas tarde 66% experimenta ansiedad relacionada con carga trabajo, lo contribuye procrastinación. Además, 62% siente culpa por no iniciar sus tiempo, afectando Aunque 72% ha intentado establecer metas para reducir procrastinación, solo 49% utiliza técnicas efectivas gestión del tiempo. Los resultados sugieren impacta negativamente salud mental, destacando necesidad implementar programas enseñen habilidades tiempo fomenten un entorno apoyo los estudiantes.
