This report explores the options to steer, valuate and remunerate sustainability services of farmers, with a view develop critical performance indicators (CPI) system for facilitating transition circular agriculture. Duurzaamheidsafspraken in de landbouw : Horizontale en verticale overeenkomsten in de landbouw ten behoeve van natuur, milieu, klimaat, dierenwelzijn en het verdienvermogen van de agrarisch ondernemer

Voor verduurzaming van de landbouw is een goed verdienvermogen voor landbouwers nodig. Naast steun overheid (dus belastingbetaler) duurzame productie, zullen consumenten duurdere producten ook moeten afnemen en zal meerprijs die zij betalen via keten worden doorgegeven aan producent. Daarvoor zijn duurzaamheidsafspraken nodig tussen ketenpartijen, aanvullend bestaande initiatieven keurmerken. In dit onderzoek wordt ruimte onderzocht om rechtmatig private te maken. Onder het kartelverbod in EU- verdrag beperkt onvoldoende werkbaar praktijk. De GMO-verordening biedt verschillende derogaties op kartelverbod, mogelijkheden bieden verenigingen GLB-herziening 2021 uitgebreid met artikel (210bis), dat speciaal doel toegevoegd. Dit grote kansen. Het moet gaan ambitieuze bovenwettelijke afspraken gemaakt vanuit of (onderlinge binnen retail verwerkende industrie zonder blijven vallen onder kartelverbod). Bij openbare inschrijvingen (OI) voor uitgifte geliberaliseerde pachtgronden zijn meerdere aspecten opgenomen die bodemkwaliteit borgen. Dit betreft opstellen bouwplannen laten uitvoeren bodemonderzoeken. Deze vormen primaire wijze waarop toeziet op duurzaam bodem. Daarnaast wil certificaten een bijdrage leveren landbouwpercelen verder stimuleren. Vanaf OI 2023 gaat hogere score toekennen basis duurzaamheidscertificaten. Om reden heeft Wageningen University & Research (WUR) Stichting Milieukeur (SMK) verzocht om onderzoeken welke positieve duurzaamheidsthema’s bodemkwaliteit, waterkwaliteit biodiversiteit. is WUR SMK gevraagd deze relatief elkaar scoren, zodat objectief meegewogen kunnen worden in RVB.
