As a member of the neonicotinoid group, imidaclothiz has garnered increasing attention due to its possible health risks. This study investigated metabolism and distribution in mice. Seven metabolites were found, four which are known, three unknown. The metabolic reactions observed hydroxylation, nitrate ester hydrolysis, methylation, urea formation, reduction NO. Precise quantification revealed that after 2 h oral administration, rapidly dispersed into various organs tissues, peaking at 4 h, was then swiftly eliminated. No propensity for accumulation body, particularly liver, observed. Toxicity data from T.E.S.T prediction indicated had moderate toxicity rats, majority more toxic than parent compound. These findings complement existing knowledge environmental fate mammals offer reference point application agriculture industry.
