The effect of anoikis-related genes (ARGs) on clinicopathological characteristics and tumor microenvironment remains unclear. We comprehensively analyzed anoikis-associated gene signatures 1057 colorectal cancer (CRC) samples based 18 ARGs. Anoikis-related molecular subtypes features were identified through consensus clustering analysis. biological functions immune cell infiltration assessed using the GSVA ssGSEA algorithms. Prognostic risk score was constructed multivariate Cox regression immunological high-risk low-risk groups compared. Finally, DAPK2-overexpressing plasmid transfected to measure its proliferation metastasis in vitro vivo . prognostic Three different anoikis demonstrated be linked distinct processes prognosis. Then, a model as an independent factor. Compared group, patients group exhibited longer survival, higher enrichment checkpoint function, increased expression CTLA4 PD-L1, IPS scores, proportion MSI-H. results RT-PCR indicated that DAPK2 mRNA significantly downregulated CRC tissues compared normal tissues. Increased suppressed proliferation, promoted apoptosis, inhibited migration invasion. nude mice xenograft confirmed high growth. Collectively, we discovered innovative signature associated with prognosis TME. Besides, our study can serve promising therapeutic target for inhibiting growth CRC.
