This study provides a systematic review of the literature on operationalization artificial intelligence (AI) within small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), aiming to develop an integrated conceptual framework for understanding AI adoption. The findings indicate that Technological readiness plays pivotal role, with SMEs requiring knowledge applications, methods, capabilities adopt effectively. adoption yields diverse outcomes, including enhanced operational efficiency, improved customer engagement, greater innovation, but these vary based industry, firm size, resource capacity. emphasizes is not unitary concept multi-dimensional construct, alignment organizational dynamic capabilities. offers adoption, helping bridge fragmented in literature.
