Therefore, understanding mechanisms that contribute its dysregulation may provide insights prevention treatment these conditions. RNA Binding Motif Single Stranded Interacting Protein 1 (RBMS1) protein binds plays cellular processes such as alternative splicing, mRNA stability, translation. The RBMS1 polymorphism shown be associated with Type 2 diabetes, but adipose not known. We show highly expressed during early phase differentiation murine adipocyte cell line 3T3-L1 significantly upregulated tissue depots adipocytes high-fat-fed mice, implying possible metabolism.
