Adding endogenous antioxidants to the diluent is significantly associated with semen quality during freezing process. This study aimed investigate effects of adding glutathione AndroMed on preservation crucial sperm attributes, namely, intact plasma membrane (IPM), acrosome (IAM), and progressive motility Bali cattle spermatozoa. A completely randomized design was used, spermatozoa samples were obtained from a divided into two treatment groups (36 in each group six replications), namely pure as control addition (1 mmol) AndroMed. Each replicated times evaluated at three stages, including post-dilution, post-equilibration, post-thawing, for properties. Glutathione (GSH) and melatonin (MLT) are two antioxidants that have been described as having a protective role against oxidative stress in several animal species, improving sperm quality survival after cryopreservation. Since there is no knowledge on the simultaneous use of these substances concerning its effects ram semen cryopreservation, this study aimed to evaluate MLT, GSH, or their association, vitro parameters thawing. During eight weekly sessions, from three Merino rams was pooled, divided into four aliquots, diluted with an egg yolk-based extender without (control) (MLT 1mM, GSH 5mM, MLT 1mM + 5mM). Diluted evaluated before freezing process. Supplementation fresh at 5 mM had deleterious effect total motility progressive (TPM), curvilinear velocity (VCL), straight-line (VSL), average-path (VAP), linearity (LIN), straightness (STR) increased slow spermatozoon (%). 1 also has negative TPM, VSL, STR semen.
