This research focuses on exploring the bioactive and antibacterial properties of extracts from flowers bark four Magnolia species (Magnolia champaca, denudata, grandiflora, officinalis) for possible cosmetic applications. We used ethanol to extract compounds these plants conducted various tests including spectrophotometry, HPLC, GC-MS, microbiological analyses. The extracts, particularly rich in polyphenols (55.18 mg GAE/g), displayed significant antioxidant capabilities, with IC 50 values ranging between 9.99 mg/mL 23.23 mg/mL. quantified different compounds: phenolic acids (6.259 27.883 mg/g dry weight), aglycone flavonoids (61.224 135.788 dw), glycosidic (17.265 57.961 lignans (150.071 374.902 dw). identified 76 volatile compounds, predominantly oxygenated monoterpenes sesquiterpene hydrocarbons, which contribute effectiveness extracts. These showed greater activity against Gram-negative bacteria than Gram-positive bacteria. diverse chemical their demonstrated activities suggest could be valuable cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or food industries.
