Environmental monitoring programs rely on periodic spot sampling at specific locations, followed by laboratory analysis, aiming the evaluation of water quality a catchment scale. For this purpose, automatic telemetric stations for parameters have been installed Institute Marine Biological Resources and Inland Waters Hellenic Centre Research (IMBRIW-HCMR) within several Greek rivers lakes, providing continuous temporal possibilities.
