Background: The exacerbation of psychosocial problems among children and adolescents during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic necessitates an assessment long-term mental health impact interventions. Focusing on both pandemic-related factors demographic variables, such as gender daily habits, analysis was conducted to under-stand how these elements continue affect young populations in post-pandemic era. Methods: In April 2023, a comprehensive online survey administered families South Tyrol, Italy, with aged 7–19 years, ensure age representation. included par-ent ratings adolescent (11–19 years) self-reports using standardized instruments measure symptoms (Strengths Difficulties Questionnaire, SDQ), anxiety (Screen for Child Anxiety Related Emotional Disorders, SCARED), depression (Patient Health Questionnaire-2, PHQ-2). Statistical analyses descriptive statistics, chi-square tests, unadjusted odds ratios (ORs). Results: Of 4,525 valid responses, 1,831 were self-reported by adolescents. Notable differences outcomes identified, along significant predictors, age, single parenthood, parental problems, immigrant background. Negative effects associated reduced family climate increased screen time, whereas physical activity showed beneficial effects. Background: Post-pandemic psychosomatic complaints in children and adolescents have been underreported. This study investigated Northern Italy 2023, with the aim of identifying changes predictors vulnerable subgroups. Methods: Cross-sectional data representative scholars from a northern Italian province were analyzed using Health Behavior School-aged Children (HBSC) checklist. The sum scores, count data, dichotomized examined, predictor effects expressed linear regression model for scores. Results: Data 4525 participants (aged 7–19 years, 50.5% girls) analyzed. Psychosomatic symptoms remained unchanged after pandemic. Significant gender differences noted, especially older age groups, girls reporting more complaints. Factors such as children’s health, digital media use, school problems significantly influence outcomes. While migration background negatively affected girls’ well-being, boys showed improvement through sports. Conclusion: well-being did not improve These findings indicate need targeted interventions, improved health literacy, ongoing monitoring to support mental this population. Reducing screen time remains critical strategy enhancing youth well-being.
